This project fulfills all three learning outcomes. The first learning outcome is to answer communication questions using appropriate research. This project involved analyzing nine research studies that focused on parasocial relationships on YouTube. The second learning outcome is to create messages appropriate to the audience, purpose, and context. I had to find not only scholarly articles to include in my research, but I had to also gather video evidence of YouTubers who have created these parasocial relationships. The video had to be able to relate to my target audience of 7 to 25 year-olds. The third learning outcome is to critically analyze messages.
