My concentration is on both communication and media studies, and I engaged within social scientific research. After graduation, I am interested in pursuing a career path within the fields of journalism or public speaking. Throughout my classes, I learned of how communication can impact the world we live in, from the everyday conversations we have with friends to the ways that messages are conveyed on television to the viewers. All of this impacted me on a personal level, as I was able to use this information within my own life to help me to identify and solve conflicts or situations occurring around me. Outside of managing these situations, other experiences outside of the classroom that helped along the way was participating and being the President of Green Knight TV during the spring semester of the 2021-22 academic year. Throughout my involvement in Green Knight TV, I was able to get great experiences with roles within public speaking and exposure in the general media.
