This essay was for my Communication and Technology Social Change course. The goal of this assignment was to take media and technology and analyze a newer communication medium.  For my communication medium I chose the Uber app and applied the McLuhan’s Tetrads of Media. In order to apply his media the criteria: to enhance, media retrieve, reversal flip, and medium obsolete had to be met. My audience was my professor however my intended was consumers using the Uber app.

This project was for the Communication and Well Being course and the goal of this assignment was to make a resource to communicate emotional well-being. I created this as my final project for the semester to highlight how test anxiety affects students academically. My target audience was students and professors who struggle with test anxiety or know someone who does. I presented this assignment to my professor however my intended audience was for college students struggling with test anxiety.

This assignment was for my Intimate Relationships and Media course. The goal of this project was to get with a group and create campaign and event ideas using sources that are derived from organizations that support the issue of domestic violence. We hose to create content for posts that the St. Norbert page could use during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. My audience was my professor, however my intended audience was to educate students on campus and show support and resources for those struggling/struggled with domestic violence

This assignment was for my Race and Ethnicity in Media course for our final project. The goal of this assignment was to make a scholarship-based message about race/ethnicity and media. The goal was to have a visual piece that ties in cultivation theory. I chose to do a video about how the Latino community in film is negatively portrayed and how this affects their day to day life. My audience was my classmates and my professor, but my intended audience was young adults and adults who watch films that show the Latino community in a negative light.

This assignment was for my Television Criticism course. This assignment was to make your own critical essay using a TV show or film and a lens (method which analyzes the text). For my film I chose the movie Wolf of Wall Street and for my lens I chose hegemonic masculinity. I created this essay to show how in film messages can affect the adolescent mind with toxic stereotypes. My audience was my professor but my target audience was parents of adolescents and people in heterosexual relationships. 

This assignment was for my family Communication course in taking the research each student had individually done and turned it into an infographic. For my research I did the importance of discussing risky topics with your adolescents. This topic was important because a lot of parents think shielding their children from information will be helpful but it has many downsides. My audience for this assignment was my professor and classmates but my intended audience was parents of adolescents. 

This assignment was for a research project I had in my Social Identity and Intergroup Communication class. For this assignment we had to choose a topic to research that demonstrates communication in a population. I chose to do people struggling with both physical and learning disabilities and how they perform in the classroom. My audience for this project was my classmates and professor however the target audience for this assignment was professors and parents that work with students who have disabilities. In this assignment I was able to research multiple sources and pull key information into an infographic. 

This project was for my Principles of Mass Communication showing the dangers of messages in  romantic films. I created this poster to share the effects on adolescents viewing romantic movies with unrealistic romantic expectations. My audience for this assignment was my professor and classmates however my intended audience was adolescents viewing romantic movies. This poster demonstrates how I am able to identify meanings embedded in messages and make it visually appealing to the audience.
