This research paper was meant to address hegemonic masculinity in the Netflix Orignal The Crown<\/em>, where I looked at Queen Elizabeth and pointed out how she showed more Hegemonic Masculine characteristics than the males in her life. The audience for this paper was my professor, Dr. Glantz. I created this in the Fall of 2022 for Television Criticism class with Dr. Glantz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project included creating a poster and presenting it to the class. I analyzed how females were represented throughout the country music genre. I took a random shuffle of my personal music and selected the first twenty songs. I then presented it to my Gender and Media class in the Fall of 2021 for my professor, Dr. Kretz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a group project where we created a Twitter page and presentation to give to our class, we were using a Twitter page, which we created to address Digital Storytelling. We presented our slides to our classmates in Comm Tech Social Change for Dr. Glantz in the spring of 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A scholarly abstract on how women are viewed when they are in high management, this was in the spring of 2020 for Dr. Antos, it was a semester-long project, and was one of the first times fully exposed to finding and creating a scholarly abstract. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a group project, we wrote a research paper and a presentation that we gave the class in the spring of 2022. We created a new ad campaign for the shoe brand Converse, researching and finding out the best for what it looks like as well as where we would be advertising it. We presented to our professor and classmate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did a research study on how college students use social media, and we also used past research to see how our results compare to those in past studies, and theories such as the Social Norm Theory. This was done for our final project for Communication Research Methods, for Dr. Smith in the spring of 2021, but could also be addressed to college students for those interested in the topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a group of three, we individually went to the local coffee shop, Luna’s, and addressed how people used the space. Connecting nonverbal communication in a real-life setting learning to read people’s reactions not just what they are saying but how they look and what they are doing. Theories used include the Theory of Proxemics and the Expectancy Violation Theory. Turned it into Dr. Antos in the Fall of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior Capstone Project for Mass Communication Theory, where I used studies to find 10 effective strategies against 11 randomly selected Super Bowl commercials from 2023. I will be presenting this to my classmates as well as my professor, Dr. Kretz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
