My degree is Communication and Media but I specialize in Media studies. I have learned the in and outs of all sorts of media. From the background history, marketing/target areas, and how we use media in the world today. This has impacted in more ways than one. I have realized how much media is used for all different types of reasons and how it can impact the world. Not only at an individual level but also in a mass. Through research I have been able to look at media involving gender and more specifically different types of social media. After graduation, I hope to look into positions with social media marketing.
