This paper was based on an observation of watching someone view or participate in violent media. Certain things to note were their behavior and mannerisms before, during and after viewing. Come 352 – Video Project

This video was created with a partner and based off of findings in scholarly articles on the topic of our choice. Our research project was titled ‘Feelings, Fears & Films’ and focused on the effects of emotional media consumption on children. The media we analyzed was was G/PG rated movies, all animated, that had scary/fearful content targeted at the age range 5-10. Come 124 – Mass Media Poster Project

Come 331 – Gender and Media Poster Project

This semester long research project was conducted by watching and blogging about romcom movies and analyzing it in terms of gender. Using theories and class material to evaluate them I blogged about stereotypical male attractiveness. The poster is another visual representation of the research findings as a whole.

Come 124 – Scholarly Review Paper

For this paper we were to select a scholar article and write a critique of it. This included a brief summary and evaluation of its strengths and weaknesses.
