Class Work presented here exhibits at least one of three learning outcomes and is labelled appropriately, explained as follows:
Learning Outcome 1: Answer communication questions using appropriate research methods.
At least four pieces of evidence should demonstrate that you are able to identify, interpret, evaluate, apply, and take part in communication research. In your descriptions, you should distinguish between items that rely on critical and / or social scientific research methods. Please consider including one scholarly article evaluation.
Learning Outcome 2: Create messages appropriate to the audience, purpose, and context.
At least four pieces of evidence should demonstrate that you can find and use relevant information, select creative and appropriate methods for accomplishing communicative goals, and adapt to the needs of the situation.
Learning Outcome 3: Critically analyze messages.
At least four pieces of evidence should demonstrate that you are able to identify meanings embedded in messages, recognize the influence of messages, engage in active listening, and/or enact mindful responses to messages.
