Being a student of Communication means a lot to me as person. It has truly taught me a lot that has made me grow. I have learned of tons of different theories that I had no clue existed before I became a communication student. This learning has affected me greatly in my professional life. I can attribute part of the reason I got my job for post graduate was due to the things I have learned while studying Communications.
During my time at St. Norbert I was a part of the Communication Studies discipline. This is where you learn more about the theories and background of Communication. I thought this was interesting because it gave a unique look into Communication that we use daily. Classes such as Conflict Communication, Family Communication and others have taught me tremendously. Some scholarly means I have used are thesis essays and presentations.
Post Graduation I am going into the Insurance Industry, specifically Casualty Insurance.
