Comparison is the thief of joy

This site was built to help bring a sense of unity in the common struggle we all have with ourselves and our body insecurities. Therefore, here is a TRIGGER WARNING talking about Eating disorders, Mental Disorders such as Anxiety & Depression, and general body talk.

“Insecurities are a Cage”- Rachel Barrett

Mission Statement:

The purpose of this resource is to bring awareness to the concept of Perfectionism: Body satisfaction and self-esteem. As well as how through society and media this concept has become an issue that is increasing at an alarming rate among adolescents and young adults, both men and women. As a result, the standards in society that are presented onto younger generations can and do have future negative effects on them into adulthood.

Therefore, this resource was created from research and real-life experience, to give a safe space to educate others on Perfectionism as well as help those going through these mental battles over how our bodies look at a given time versus what we think or want them to look like.
