1. COME 331 (Gender and Media) poster
This project was a semester long analysis. I took 20 DC female comic book characters and analyzed their most popular cover, applying Goffman's gender displays. This showed me how to categorize data and display findings in a visually appealing way.
2. Film Studies (Ireland)
In this paper, I watched and reflected on the documentariesStarring Adam West, and Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, which highlighted the careers of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher, as well as Adam West. I then found and discussed articles relating to research on fandoms and nerd culture.
3. COME 324 (Persuasion) Final Paper
In this group paper, we were assigned the task of analyzing a Barbie ad campaign. The campaign we analyzed involved a commercial that has five young girls taking on professional roles. This is then
