I am currently a junior history and communication double major in the Honors Program at St. Norbert College, a small Catholic liberal arts institution in the Midwest. In addition to being a full-time student at St. Norbert, I have been working on collaborative undergraduate history research that focuses on the First Republic of Vietnam from 1954-1956. Currently, I intern at Heritage Hill, a state historical park in Wisconsin, where my research explores the development and local histories of Green Bay. Furthermore, my recent work experience as a history teaching assistant reflects my passion for both learning and teaching.
In regard to my communication studies, I have taken formative advanced communication courses including Business/Professional Speaking and Social/Intergroup Identities. These courses have allowed me to hone both my verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, I have continued to develop my communication skills as a Student Programming Coordinator for the Honors Program and Communication Coordinator for the Residence Hall Association, which have provided me with invaluable work experience with event planning, social media, and public speaking.
I strive to further improve and advance my skills in communication and history through actively seeking opportunities to grow and develop post-graduation upon the Fall ’23.
