COME 122: Interpersonal Communication
This course discussed the basic principles, characteristics, and types of personal communication, linking to concepts such as language, perceptions, self-concept, listening and values.
COME 124: Principles of Mass Communication
This class was mainly revolved around various mass communication methods throughout the years. The Mass Media Poster Project artifact was part of the final for this class.
COME 180: Communication Research Methods
This course's goal was centered around communication research and being able to observe and evaluate it. The Impact of Internet Research Proposal artifact is connected with this course, as well as the Annotated Bibliography artifact.
COME 222: Small Group Communication
This class was a favorite of mine and applied to real world applications much easier than some of the other courses. The Podcast, Podcast Script, and Group Charter artifacts are all from this course.
COME 323: Nonverbal Communication
This class was another favorite of mine, and examined theory and research to develop topics such as touch, movement, space, vocal characteristics and appearance. The Barnes and Noble Paper artifact is from this class.
COME 324: Persuasion
The curriculum for this class focused on theoretical and practical applications of using traditional and current trends of persuasive communication. This was an interesting class to explore how impactful persuasive communication can be and how often it is used in daily life.
COME 427: Communication Theory
This course was my last communication class and encapsulated various communication theories that are historically referred to. The Capstone Website Project and Theory Application Slides artifacts are from this course.
