As a Communication & Media Studies graduate at St. Norbert College, I have acquired skills in communication research, communication within groups of people, and studied multiple ways to advertise products and events. I concentrated mainly on the communication aspect, where I learned how to integrate effective communication in my personal and professional life. With my educational background, I am interested in working with companies to plan and execute events that reflect the customer’s ideas and goals.

As seen above, I studied many ways communication affects groups of people, but also learned ideas that communication can affect the individual as well. Most of the research I completed while obtaining my degree was based on different social communication; for example, the organization of the SNC Women’s Basketball team and how they communicated as a small group or how celebrities communicated their wrongful acts in crisis communication.
