My name is Stephanie Faudoa, and I am majoring in Political Science and Communication at St. Norbert College. Throughout my various communication courses, I have learned about the importance of communication and how it impacts individuals daily. Personally, it is vital that individuals understand that communication is all around us in every way, from how we communicate to how we engage with technology. Throughout my courses, I have developed fundamental learning lessons through the social scientific research scholarly perspectives that have allowed me to expand my knowledge and integrate these lessons into my internships and leadership experiences.
I am a very passionate and determined leader that strives to achieve any challenge that may come my way. I have been involved in a wide variety of roles, from working for Casa-Alba Melanie, which is a non-profit organization in the Green Bay, Wisconsin, area, to working for the Probation and Parole Office in De Pere, Wisconsin. My leadership roles in college include being an academic mentor for the Students Taking Academic Responsibility Program, being a member of the Latine Student Union, and being the Vice-President of College Relations for the Student Government Association. My roles and leadership experiences have guided me to find my aspirations in my future career. My goal is to attend law school and achieve my ultimate goal of becoming an attorney.
Life is a journey that is full of opportunities, and it is ultimately up to you to take these opportunities and bring positive change to those around you. Throughout my internships, job experiences, and educational college courses, I have been able to gain a wide variety of knowledge from the incredible leaders and professors that have allowed me to grow by challenging myself every step of the way. Persistence has guided me to become who I am today, and it is my goal to always fight for the rights of every single individual.
