Welcome to my assemblage of work for English 305: Literary Theory and Writing! I feel blessed that you could join me here in my portfolio showcasing my blood, sweat, tears, and breakdowns of the spring 2020 semester. As you may already know, spring 2020 was a roller coaster ride, and Lit 305 was no exception.
The entirety of my process and work from 305 is showcased on this website with a detailed process of all 5 essays included that can be found in my process portfolio. My process portfolio is where all my notes and step-by-step processes of each essay can be found.
To accompany my process portfolio, I have also kept a writing blog throughout the semester that explains my thoughts, feelings, and daydreams during the writing process. My blogs are a peek into my brain and are therefore nothing spectacular or particularly informational, but feel free to check them out anyways. The blogs are informal and emotion-influenced, but give a good look into what being a student in Lit 305 is really like.
The process of writing my essays as laid out in the process portfolio culminates into the finished work you can find in the presentation portfolio. The presentation portfolio houses my four best essays. Now, that’s not to say that these finished essays are great, but after so many drafts, one could consider them done enough to be put on display. Each of these essays has taken countless hours of my life, so I present them with the hope that they will enlighten or enliven your day.
Some additional amenities you can find on my website include a biography of myself written by myself and an introduction to my writing portfolio. The biography includes a little bit about myself and the introduction will provide some insight on my complicated journey with literature and writing.
