COME 222: Small Group Communication

Year Taken: Spring 2019

Professor: Dr. Jim Neuliep

Description: In this class I learned about the importance of being able to work effectively and critically with a small group of individuals. We examined theories such as Groupthink and looked at the different roles in every small group, and the importance of the primary and secondary roles in small groups. A part of this class was being assigned a random group with which we would complete several group assignments. This class strengthened my ability to work effectively in groups, and it strengthened my understanding of how small groups function and how to properly work with groups if issues arrive.
